Race 1 No.7  DREAM OF MINE- ($4.60)

DREAM OF MINE can get the day off to a flyer. The five-year-old only just stepped out for the first time in her career on November 17 at the track and trip and settled handy to the lead before just missing out behind Pride Of Limassol. The daughter of Kuroshio showed a bit of toe late in the piece and went three lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced. She draws barrier 7 and with improvement to come at her second start she should be hard to beat.

NEXT BEST 🥈 

Race 3 No.14  THUNDER FLASH- ($4.80)

This might be the one for THUNDER FLASH to break through for her first career win. She comes out of the same race as Dream Of Mine and produced the fastest last 200m to run 3rd. The five-year-old was runner-up over the 1000m prior to that when resuming. She looks like she wants the step up to the 1200m and should be ready at her third run back after a long break.

Race 7 No.6  REDSNAP- ($8)

REDSNAP shapes as an each-way player in Race 7 of the afternoon at Mornington. The five-year-old has finished 5th at his past two starts and hasn’t had the best of luck in those. He tends to save his best for Mornington and has won one and finished runner-up in another at the track and trip. The son of Redente draws barrier 2 and should be in it for a long way.
