BEST BET 🏆

Race 2 No. 4 TAPINFORPAR – ($3.60)

Gordon Richards & Damien Moyle hold a strong hand on their home track with stable apprentice Lachlan Neindorf striking peak form. The trio combine with last start winner TAPINFORPAR who now steps out to the mile for the first time. Found the front early first-up when swamped late with the winner Validated proving the form since. Stalked the speed at his next start over 1400m on the Parks track before coming away for a big win. A good run to the first turn will allow Neindorf to weigh his decisions early. Should expect Sailors Brook to lead comfortably. Ideally, we’ll see Tapinforpar coming over to stalk with Thirsty Guest holding the rail at an easy gallop.

NEXT BEST 🥈

Race 3 No. 3 MAGIC MAX – ($4.80)

In stark contrast to the previous event, we’re expecting the pace and pressure to be right on in this. This affords MAGIC MAX his chance to land the magical breakthrough win he has for since scoring twelve months ago. Put the writing on the wall in a strong Benchmark 78 when resuming over this track and distance. Showed his customary lack of early speed before Neindorf worked him off the rails and into the race. The winner was able to do his own thing in front before opening a big gap on them. Magic Max continued strongly through the line to finish behind him while comfortably accounting for the rest. The stars would appear to be aligning for Magic Max to get that third win on the board.

BEST VALUE 💰

Race 8 No. 6 PEACEMAKER – ($13)

Chris Bieg opts for senior rider Jake Toeroek for PEACEMAKER at his third run back. Stable apprentice Felicity Atkinson got Peacemaker home despite racing fiercely while fresh at Strathalbyn. Settled better under Teagan Voorham over 1550m on the Parks last start. Sorrel Rising appeared to have a class edge on paper and proved such after leading early. Teagan had followed the speed from a few lengths back before making inroads on Peacemaker. Her horse peaked on his run late to finish third after watching Eaglelou get past him late. Must find a length in margin, plus another length in weight to turn the tables on Eaglelou now. Race shape plus fitness will give Peacemaker a chance to do just that with some value in the early market.
