Another from the Barbara Joseph Team stable is DELIGHTFUL DREAM who has four-straight minor placings on his resume for this campaign and is overdue for a win. Last start, the Dream Ahead gelding was wide all the way but still ran home strongly to grab second-prize in a BM70 Hcp over 1000m at Canberra. He ran that trip out, 2 lengths slower than benchmark, still the best in this line-up. Quayde Krogh sticks with him here who has a good record with the six-year-old, boasting one win and no less than six minor money finishes from his ten rides to date. Rock-hard fit after four starts back, he is already a track and distance winner here and will take beating today.

Race 3: No.3 CASH REGISTER ($6 with Palmerbet)

Barbara Joseph saddles-up CASH REGISTER here who has four-straight podium finishes on his resume this time in and looks well placed here to add another to the collection. Last start, the Pendragon gelding made it three-straight minor placings when he took home third prize in a BM58 Hcp over 2000m at Queanbeyan. We were with him that day (as our Next Best 🥈) but he found the 2000m just a little too daunting on the day. He did, however, run his last 600m, 1.9 lengths quicker than benchmark which is the best in this field. Dropping back to the mile today, where he has a win and two minor placings over the trip, he looks better suited here and with Quayde Krogh remaining aboard, he can give this a real shake.
