Hawkesbury galloper DREAM ECLIPSE has been knocking on the door for a win this time in and looks well placed here in a small field to give this a real shake today. Last start, the Dream Ahead gelding came off a hat-trick of runner-up finishes when he found them a little too slick in a BM64 Hcp at Wyong. He settled last and did make up some ground in the run home, finishing fifth overall in the 1600m event. He did run his last 600m, 4.3 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best here by more than 3 lengths. Tyler Schiller finished second on him at Goulburn three starts back and has the reins again today. The wetter the better for him as conditions today look very suitable. He poses a real threat to these.

Down in grade today, he should find this assignment a little easier and already a winner in the going, he looks competitive today.
