Race 3: No.6 IKNOWASTAR ($1.95 with Ladbrokes)
The Bjorn Baker-trained IKNOWASTAR is shooting for four-straight here today and looks set to pull it off. Last start the Star Witness gelding rang-up the hat-trick when he destroyed a BM58 Hcp at Goulburn, putting almost four lengths on his rivals that day. He ran the trip out, 4.5 lengths slower than benchmark, still the best in this field and a new personal best as well. He also posted the fastest final 200m sectional for the race. Ideally drawn in gate three today, Robbie Dolan takes the reins for the first time and with a trouble-free run here, he looks the one to beat again.

Race 7: No.8 OWN THE NIGHT ($8 with Neds)
Bathurst galloper OWN THE NIGHT is in outstanding form this time in and looks up to taking this contest out today at odds. Last start, the Astern gelding Recorded win number two when he held off all challenges to take out a Class 1 Hcp over 1212m at Dubbo. With Michael Heagney aboard, he fought like a caged tiger for that victory which made it seven podium finishes from his nine starts this preparation. He gets all the favours here from gate one as Heagney sticks with him today. Placed twice from two starts at this track, it could be third time lucky today.
