Race 2 No. 8 BUBBLING ($2.10)

BUBBLING did enough on debut to suggest that she should be hard to beat in Race 2. The Price/Kent Jnr filly settled handy at the track and trip on January 11 before being run down late by Justaboom, who enjoyed a slight edge in experience. Bubbling went 2.4 lengths slower than standard benchmark in that race, which is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced. The daughter of Shocking can improve off that and will look to cross over from barrier 10 early on with Jye McNeil to ride.

Race 7 No. 12 PRINCESS PIA ($4.20)

This looks to be a winnable race for PRINCESS PIA. The Maher/Eustace galloper has placed in all three or her career runs and narrowly went down behind New Hampsire at Moonee Valley two starts ago when resuming over the 1200m before sticking on for 3rd behind Warmosa at Pakenham at her most recent run. She should be ready to peak third up and comes in with the best last start benchmark figures of any runner.
