Pakenham Tips 4/11/2022
BEST BET 🏆
Race 5 No. 9 INVINCIBLE CAVIAR- ($2.70)
INVINCIBLE CAVIAR can make it three wins on the trot when she steps out in Race 5. The daughter of Black Caviar resumed with a strong win at Sale on October 5, defeating Blistering by just under a length. The Peter Moody-trained galloper 2.9 lengths faster than standard, which are the best last start figures of any runner in this race. Look for her to lead or box seat with Luke Nolen on board.
NEXT BEST 🥈
Race 3 No. 8 MORPHEUS BRAGI- ($3.20)
MORPHEUS BRAGI should be hard to beat in Race 3 of the evening at Pakenham. He debuted with an eye-catching 3rd at Mornington on October 17, coming from well back to land one length off Get Up Girl. The runner-up out of that race has gone on to score at Mornington by more than three lengths and he went 2.7 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which are the best last start figures of any runner and the second best that any horse in this race has produced. Any improvement at his second start and the son of Wrote will be very hard to beat.
Best Value 💰(EACH-WAY)
Race 1 No. 3 DANTE’S PEAK- ($14)
DANTE’S PEAK can go close at the each-way quote in the opening event at Pakenham. The four-year-old has had three starts and was solid at Geelong on Soft conditions when 3rd behind Gargantuan on September 29 before heading to Mornington on October 17 and running 6th over the 1500m behind Tokenist. The Dean Binaisse gelding settled back in that race before running on. 1600m looks like it will suit and he performs well on tracks with a bit of give.
