Betting around Black Caviar’s son, I Am Caviar, who was slow on debut at Moe. ENTREMET was solid on debut at Sandown back in March and only needs to run up to that performance to be a big factor here. Her only run came over the 1000m and she went for home in the straight, only to be run down by Va Via, who has gone on to bigger and better things. The daughter of Magnus went 5.7 lengths slower than standard that day and only Tom Rocks has produced a better career figure. Any improvement over the break and she should be hard to beat here.

Race 2 No. 8 TRANSZAM- ($4.60)
TRANSZAM can kick off his preparation with a win. The three-year-old was solid in three runs at 1600m and beyond over the winter, placing 3rd at Bendigo before running 5th at Flemington in the Taj Rossi Series Final, beaten two lengths. He was then put away after running 7th over the 1800m at Flemington. The Griffiths/de Kock galloper went faster than standard benchmark at his last two runs, while he comes in with the benefit of a recent trial.
