Race 1 No. 12 MOYA LASS- ($2.10)
MOYA LASS can go close in the opener. The filly from the Julius Sandhu camp has placed in three of five career starts and was 3rd over the 1400m here when resuming before heading to Flemington and running 5th behind Revolutionary Miss in the Kewney Stakes (1600m). That form looks rock solid for this with the runner-up slaying them at Moonee Valley last Friday. Craig Newitt just needs to negotiate the wide barrier. He is 25% for the stable, providing a 109% profit on turnover for punters.

Race 3 No. 8 VERIFIER – ($12)
VERIFIER is worth a bit of thought in Race 3. The Nigel Blackiston-trained galloper resumed at Bendigo on March 9 and settled back in a slowly run race before running on well to finish runner-up behind Amabutho. Nice return from the son of Tivaci. That came over the 1500m and the slight rise in trip will help, while he will strip fitter here.
