Race 6: No.4 RED CARD
The James Cummings-trained RED CARD is second-up here and ticks all the boxes that point to him going back-to-back in this contest. Last start, the Irish-bred mare resumed off a 16-week spell and showing no signs of fatigue, beat home a BM94 field, here over 1100m. She gets the gun-run from gate one here and has Adam Hyeronimus in the saddle, shooting for his second win on the mare. Unbeaten at the track and distance already a two-time winner when second-up, its all steam ahead for the four-year-old Godolphin mare in this black-type event.

Race 8: No.1 ZOUGOTCHA
Waller and J.Mac combine here again with ZOUGOTCHA who is second-up here and looks a real player in the big Group 1. Last start, the Zoustar mare came off a lengthy 22-week absence and made it look easy when she took out the Group 2 Millie Fox Stakes (1300m) on this track with J.Mac as the pilot. The effort was impressive, beating home Lady Laguna and Madame Pommery on fresh legs. She has two wins at the track now while J.Mac boasts five wins with the mare. Already a two-time winner when second-up, she will take a power of beating here.

Race 7: No.5 SALTCOATS
Chris Waller saddles-up four runners here as we run with SALTCOATS who looks the most likely to take out this contest. Last start, the Ardrossan gelding was fresh off a 19-week break when he beat all but one home in a BM78, here over 1350m. He kept chasing all the way to the line and was beaten a neck by a fitter horse on the day. This is his hardest test to date but he gets the gun-run in gate one and after riding him in a recent trial, has James McDonald on board for the first time under race conditions. Given a trouble-free run here, he looks a serious player amongst this lot.
