Race 9:  No.10  I AM ME  ($1.80 with Unibet)

She could end up the shortest priced runner of the day but the Maher & Eustace-trained I AM ME has what it takes to claim victory here with ease. Last start, the I Am Invincible mare resumed off a lengthy five-month absence when she clobbered her rivals in a BM78 Hcp, here over 1100m, taking it out by almost two lengths over the line. On fresh legs, she set a new personal best by covering the trip, 9.3 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this line-up. She also recorded the fastest final 800m to 200m sectionals for the race. She steps-up in grade here but has Tommy Berry sticking with her and she drops a noticeable 4.5kgs for the race as well. Already a track and distance winner and fitter for one run back, she looks the best of the day.

Race 7:  No.5  DEVIL’S THROAT  ($6.50 with Neds)

The Team Snowden-trained DEVIL’S THROAT has been in good touch this time in and with an ounce of luck at the gates, has claims to suggest he can be a contender here. Last start, the Snitzel gelding was fourth-up when he beat all but one home in a BM78 Hcp over 1200m, when making his Rosehill debut. He ran that trip out, 4.4 lengths quicker than benchmark, the best in this field by more than 3 lengths. This looks no harder and Sam Clipperton remains in the saddle here. Drawn out here, he just needs a bit of luck in crossing from gate ten to find a spot nearer the fence with cover. If he enjoys a trouble-free run here, he could be there when it counts.

Race 4:  No.2  ZOU DE MOON  ($9 with Palmerbet)

Newcastle galloper, ZOU DE MOON makes her Rosehill debut here and has the runs on the board to suggest she is a winning chance at odds. Last start, the Zoustar mare made the trip north of the border and got the job done when she took out a Class 6 Hcp over the mile at Eagle Farm. She set a new personal best that day, running the trip out, 6.5 lengths quicker than benchmark, which is also the best last-start effort here by more than 3 lengths. The five-year-old also clocked the fastest final 400m and 200m sectionals for that race. Brenton Avdulla has the reins here and with three wins already on the resume for this preparation, she looks a top chance of adding another one here at odds.
