This looks to be a suitable assignment for FAME. The Peter Moody-trained gelding will be out to register his first career win and resumed at Sandown with a solid 6th behind Chico Sonado, beaten two lengths. He was a tad disappointing as favourite that day but was back on a very slow tempo before working home well. In his four starts last year, the son of Manhattan Rain was placed each time, with a couple of those coming behind some top gallopers in the recent Group 1 winn

Race 4 No.9 RAVIN- ($3.60)
Might take on the short priced favourite in Paris Affair here. RAVIN can serve it up to the popular elect after a first up effort that saw him finish runner-up behind More Money Please at Kilmore over the 1450m on March 10. The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper settled just worse than midfield that day and was solid to the line to finish just over a length away. He went 3.4 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is more than three lengths better than what any runner in this race has produced. Improvement to come at his second run back and step up to the 1717m looks like it will suit.
