Race 7 No. 10 THE SISTERS – ($2.80)
Don’t mind THE SISTERS at the each-way quote in Race 7. The Pat Carey-trained galloper was 3rd at the track and trip three starts ago before producing a huge run from a mile back at Sandown over the 1000m on July 20. Her last start was a bit plain behind Duchy Of Savoy but figures from her last two runs have both been pretty solid. What is in her favour here is the likelihood of a solid tempo with the likes of Joseylin, Morning Melody and Philosopher to bowl along, while a couple of others should be prominent. Worth though at the price.

Race 6 No. 4 CRACKERJACK PRINCE – ($3)
We close off with a BenchMark 70 over the 1717m and CRACKERJACK PRINCE should be hard to beat. The Archie Alexander-trained galloper will be shooting for a hat-trick of wins and scored at Bendigo two starts ago before heading to Geelong and doing the job as a $1.60 favourite. He wasn’t really pushed that day and should have more to offer at his fourth run back from a spell. Look for him to work forward from barrier 9 with Jordan Childs on board. He strikes at 22% for this stable, providing a 22% profit on turnover for punters.
