Paul Murray saddles-up CANI CANCAN here who has improved with each run this time in and fourth-up today should be ready to fire. Last start, the Russian Revolution filly ran home strongly and arrived in time to grab third prize in a BM58, here over 1200m, beaten a length on the line. She meets similar company here and is joined by Louise Day for the first time. Drawn in gate five, she maps to settle in the first half-dozen and at her peak today, should prove hard to hold out here.

Race 3:  No.3  WHERE IS KEN

The Barbara Joseph team saddle-up WHERE IS KEN here who bounced back to his best form recently and looks a winning chance again in this contest. Last start, the Bull Point gelding came off a Class 1 win on his home track at Canberra when he stepped-up to Class 2 company and beat all but one home, here over the mile trip. Quayde Krogh was aboard for both runs and steers the ship again today. He steps up again in distance here and ideally drawn in gate two, maps to be parked right behind the speed. He is well seasoned this time in and looks every chance of taking this one out today.

Race 4:  No.3  BREAKAWAY WEEK 

The Keith Dryden-trained BREAKAWAY WEEK has been in consistent form this time in and despite a disappointing effort last start, still looks set to bounce back today. Coming off a hat-trick of podium finishes, the Dissident mare settled back in the field last start, after drawing the outside gate (10) at Moruya where she failed to fire in the run home. Taking on stiff Class 3 competition, she finished just over three lengths from the winner over the 1650m trip. She drops back in distance today and takes on easier company which should put here back in the ball game. Billy Owen has the reins for the first time and with a trouble-free run here, the mare can figure in this contest at each-way odds today.
