BEST BET 🏆 (WIN)

Race 4 No. 9 ANARYA- ($2)

ANARYA gets her chance in Race 4. The Godolphin filly is yet to win in five starts but has placed in two of her past three. At her most recent run, she stepped out on a Heavy track at Kilmore and loomed to win before just going down late behind Mystic High. This looks to be a weak Maiden race and the daughter of Iffraaj has the early speed to find a spot from barrier 9.

NEXT BEST 🥈 (WIN)

Race 2 No 5 NEED A MIRACLE- ($3.10)

NEED A MIRACLE can go a couple of spots better than a debut effort that saw him finish 3rd behind Miss Galore at Ballarat on March 7. The Patrick Payne-trained galloper settled last in that race and never really had a clear crack at them until the last 200m when running on strongly to finish just over two lengths from the winner. The winner out of that race has since gone on to place 3rd at Listed level in Adelaide behind Caste. The son of Divine Prophet will no doubt benefit from the run and with better luck this time around he looks to be the one.

Race 5 No. 5 LIGHTNING FLASH- ($3.25)

LIGHTNING FLASH should be hard to beat in Race 5. The promising filly has won two of five and comes off a seven-length romp ahead of Adki on April 23. She settled on the speed that day before giving nothing else a chance. The daughter of Toronado just needs to do it on a drier surface this time around. She was wide on a Good deck when resuming at Geelong. Third up last time, the Matt Laurie-trained galloper was a dominant winner on the Pakenham Synthetic so she should have more to come at her third run back this time around. Joe Bowditch rides and the pair save ground from barrier 1.
