Race 8 No. 3 CONCLAVE PRINCE ($4.85) 

CONCLAVE PRINCE can end the day a winner. The four-year-old was a first up winner in this grade at Bendigo three starts ago before battling against some handy types at Flemington over the 1200m. At his most recent start, the son of Written Tycoon headed to Hamilton and led before just fading late to run 6th, beaten just under two lengths by True Nobility. He comes in with five weeks in between runs and this race lacks depth. Blinkers go on and the 2kg claim for Rose Hammond gets him to a winnable weight.

Race 5 No. 6 SNICK ($1.45) 

This looks to be the one for PRANCING WITH FIRE. The Andrew Noblet-trained galloper has been edging closer at her past couple and just missed out in a head-bobber at Werribee on February 2 when a narrow runner-up behind Obedience over the 1629m. She has placed in four of her past five starts and draws to get the gun run from barrier 4 with John Allen to ride.
