The four-year-old from the Maher/Eustace stable placed at his first two career runs then stepped out at Moonee Valley over the 1600m on December 9 and didn’t enjoy much room at a vital time before battling into 6th position behind Lady Jones. This looks easier and the son of Artie Schiller should enjoy a perfect run from barrier 4 with Ben Allen to ride.

THE KINGS GOSPEL can just about make it back to back wins in Race 6 of the day at Stony Creek. The four-year-old was a winner third up when stepping to the 2050m at Moe from the 1600m and made a long and sustained run to edge out First Immortal. That horse has since come out and won by five lengths at Yarra Valley. A firmer in the early betting, the son of Animal Kingdom can measure up here.
