Race 4 No. 2 BADONKIDONK – ($4.40)

Trainer Darryl Dodson has his stable coming together nicely and BADONKIDONK is another who caught the eye when resuming. Kayla Crowther allowed Badonkidonk to gather his feet towards the rear of a strung-out field over 1400 metres in Murray Bridge. The pair were still last straightening for home with Crowther angling out to the middle of the track. Badonkidonk continued to build into the race up the big Gifford Hill straight and got home noticeably inside the final 200 metres.

Race 5 No. 5 NEXT DIMENSION – ($4.80)

Morphettville trainer Paula Trenwith has taken the front bar plates off of NEXT DIMENSION who has raced consistently all prep. Comes back from city grade where his past two with the heavy shoes on have been good behind My Khalifa around the tight Parks track. Next Dimension has been carrying a lot of weight too, including during his fast-finishing effort in the race won by Outpost over the sharper 1200 metres. Will appreciate getting down towards the minimum in a race that suits.

Race 7 No. 4 OAKFIELD GERONIMO – ($8.50)

Paula Trenwith has OAKFIELD GERONIMO lining up for just his second go around the tricky Strathalbyn track. He comes out that rough-run affair here two starts back when Britney Wong found herself 3WNC the speed. Oakfield Geronimo struck the front for her prior to straightening and just kept sticking his head out in a refusal to surrender. She finds herself tasked with a similar scenario on Sunday with a couple of speed horses drawn inside. With any luck Fleurieu Flipper will be too quick which may give her a chance to get in one-off with a horse to follow.
