That horse has since come out and claimed a 0-64 race at Geelong. The son of Pierro looks like he will be be suited by the step up to the 1800m and should be strong late in the piece.

We close off with a BenchMark 58 over the 1200m and LANI BANG BANG can end the day a winner. The six-year-old overcame a stack of trouble at Moe two starts ago to score on the Heavy before heading to Wodonga and finishing runner-up behind Vanderland. She settled back that day before producing the fastest last 200m. The daughter of Reward For Effort gets back to the 1200m and has drawn to save ground from barrier 1.
