Race 6 No. 7 JUDGE KELLIE – ($3.10) 

JUDGE KELLIE can go one spot better than a local debut that saw her finish runner-up behind British Angel at Terang on March 5 over the 1200m. The former Kiwi was stepping out for the first time since coming over to the Michelle Payne stables and settled back in the field of eight and was held up for a period of time at the top of the straight before getting out late and running on to finish two lengths away. She should have finished closer and went two lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is the best last start figure of any runner. The four-year-old was a second up winner at her last preparation and gets the 3kg claim for Thomas Prebble. He is two from eight for the stable, providing a 48% profit on turnover.

Race 7 No.6 TEQUILA STORM- ($3.60) 

This looks to be a winnable race for TEQUILA STORM. The six-year-old has been featuring in some recent night meetings at Moonee Valley in stronger company over the 1000m, placing two starts ago before running 5th in a BenchMark 70 at her most recent start, beaten just two lengths by Epic Centre. She comes back to BenchMark 58 company and was a winner at his only go at the track and trip earlier in his career.
