UNTHINKABLE can go one spot better than a first up effort that saw her finish runner-up at Hamilton on January 12. That came over the 1400m behind Sevillana and she was back in the small field before producing the fastest last 200m. The Mitchell Freedman-trained galloper was a second up winner at her last preparation. She sticks to this grade and will be partnered by the 2kg claimer, Jaylah Kennedy, who has had some recent success with the stable.

Race 1 No. 1 ARCTIC GIRL ($7)

ARCTIC GIRL can go a couple of spots better than a debut effort that saw her place 3rd at Yarra Valley on January 4. That came on a Heavy deck and she did a few things wrong during the run but was good enough to run on well to fill the minors. This doesn’t look any harder and with any improvement at her second race start she should be hard to beat.
