BEST BET 🏆 

Race 4 No. 1 MOJO MUSIC- ($3.50)

MOJO MUSIC should take a bit of beating in Race 4. The four-year-old carts 61.5kg after the claim for Hannah Williams but has carried hefty weights to victory in the past, while he comes in with two runs under his belt in harder company. He was caught wide at Moonee Valley when resuming on a Heavy 10 track before battling into 4th position over the 955m before running on well for 3rd behind Red Card at his most recent start, which was again over the 955m. The Andrew Dale-trained galloper went more than two lengths faster than standard in both of those runs and step up to the 1100m should be in his favour.  

NEXT BEST 🥈 

Race 9 No. 5 DEPRIVATION- ($2.40)

We close off with a BenchMark 70 over the 1300m and it is another Price/Kent Jnr galloper that can be a factor here. That horse is DEPRIVATION and he was excellent when resuming with an all-the-way win at Moonee Valley back on October 28 over the 1200m. The front runner should be suited at Wodonga and improved more than three lengths on figures when second up last time to place at the Valley, while he then placed again at both Sandown and Flemington. He can hold the lead or box seat from barrier 5 with Daniel Stackhouse on board and should be strong at the business end.
