Race 6 No. 1 OUTBACK MISS- ($2.80) 

OUTBACK MISS should be hard to beat in Race 6. The Mick Price & Michael Kent Jnr-trained galloper won her first two career starts and resumed off a seven-month spell with a 3rd at Sandown behind Austmarr on February 21 over the 1000m. She was a bit slow out of the blocks that day before settling handy and sticking on. Second up at her last preparation, the daughter of Rubick was a big improver on benchmark figures when going from a Bendigo Maiden win to a dominant victory in Saturday grade at Caulfield. Celine Gaudry claims the 1.5kg and provides a 16% profit on turnover when combining with the stable.

Race 3 No.5 NURSERY CHIME- ($3.70) 

NURSERY CHIME can go close in Race 3. The five-year-old has finished top two at her past five starts, winning two of those. She has been closing off well over the 1600m in recent times and produced the fastest last 200m when filling the exacta behind Unthinkable at Moonee Valley on February 23. The 3rd placegetter out of that has since come out and won. A slight firmer in the early betting, the daughter of Holler draws well in barrier 3.
