Race 4 No. 1 BRAVE MEAD ($3.20)
BRAVE MEAD should be hard to beat in the Zeditave Stakes for the three-year-olds. The Ciaron Maher-trained galloper resumed off a nine week break in the Manfred Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield last month and was too slick for the likes of King Colorado and Steparty. That form looks good for this and the son of Brave Smash went 9.7 lengths faster than standard benchmark, which is a better figure than what any horse in this race has produced and six lengths better than the next best last start figures of any runner. He is the one they have to catch.

Race 3 No. 6 SO GLAMOROUS ($8.50)
SO GLAMOROUS can be an improver in Race 3. She wasn’t suited over the 1100m when resuming on February 10, settling back before sticking on ok for 7th behind Estriella. They went quick in that race and she wasn’t disgraced, going a healthy 6.7 lengths faster than standard. Step up to the 1400m looks ideal and she was an impressive winner at the track and trip at her previous start, which was back in December.

Race 9 No.10 HYPOTHETICAL ($13)
It is a solid edition of the Oakleigh Plate and HYPOTHETICAL is right in the mix after running 4th in the Rubiton Stakes last time. She may need another run or so to show her best but we can trust the stable and she was brilliant at the track and trip with the fitness under her belt back in November, defeating the likes of Sghirripa by three lengths. The daughter of Pride Of Dubai meets the likes of Kallos and Asfoora much better at the weights after finishing behind that pair last time out. Look for her to push forward and take some catching.
