The Group 1 George Ryder Stakes (1500m) barrier draw will be announced at 11:00am on March 14, 2022.

Champion trainer Chris Waller has three horses engaged for the 2021 George Ryder Stakes with all horses leading contenders in the race.

Five-year-old gelding Kolding has drawn barrier 13 with Hugh Bowman to ride. He was second in the Group 2 Expressway Stakes (1200m) and Apollo Stakes (1400m) before leading and finishing fifth in the Group 1 Chipping Norton Stakes (1600m).

Tommy Berry rides the stablemate, four-year-old mare Funstar who was fourth in both the Apollo Stakes and Chipping Norton Stakes.

The third of the trio is Star Of The Seas to be ridden by Sam Clipperton.

James Cummings prepares two runners with Avilius drawing barrier six with Nash Rawiller aboard and Cascadian to be ridden by Rachel King after drawing gate seven.

Defending George Ryder Stakes winner Dreamforce for trainer John Thompson was last seen running fifth in the Group 1 Canterbury Stakes (1300m).
