The Mark & Levi Kavanagh-trained galloper has been knocking on the door in recent times and resumed with a 3rd placing at Sale before being posted wide without cover at Geelong on May 12 and running 4th behind Regal Vow. The son of Russian Revolution comes into this with the best last start benchmark figures of any runner and draws slightly closer this time around.

Race 4 No 2 BOOBOO BOOGIE- ($8.50)
This might be the one for BOOBOO BOOGIE to break the maiden. The Danny O’Brien-trained filly has had two starts this year and was back on a slow tempo at Geelong at her last start before running 6th behind Regal Vow. That came off an eight-week break and the daughter of Savabeel can be an improver. She placed twice to kick off her career before being thrown into the deep end on Cox Plate day when 7th in the Fillies Classic (1600m). Look for her to settle on the speed and be in it for a long way.
