Race 7: No.2 ROMANTIC WARRIOR ($1.75 with Ladbrokes)
Could this be the day of redemption for the Danny Shum-trained ROMANTIC WARRIOR as he goes to toe-to-toe with champion galloper Golden Sixty as they clash (yet again) in a Group 1 contest. Last start, the five-year-old came off back-to-back wins over the Sha Tin 2000m trip when dropped back to the mile and was beaten home by Golden Sixty in the Group 1 Steward’s Cup. He was finishing on again near the line but just not good enough over the mile that day. Back to his ‘pet’ distance today, he can turn the tables here as his resume boasts four from four at the track and trip.

Race 9: No.8 SUPER SUNNY SING ($6 with Neds)
The Chris So-trained SUPER SUNNY SING is on a roll this time in and looks in the mix to make it four-straight today. Last start, the Nicconi gelding brought up the hat-trick when he clobbered his opponents in a Class 3 Hcp, here over the mile trip with Vince Ho aboard. This is a little harder today as he sees the 1800m for the first time but Ho sticks with him and drawn well in gate five, he looks a genuine chance for victory in this field.

Race 4: No.1 JUNEAU FLASH ($6 with Palmerbet)
The John Size-trained JUNEAU FLASH carries top weight today but has the ability to still finish on top here. Last start, the Starspangledbanner gelding won a Class 4, here over 1000m with Ryan Moore in the saddle. Coming from mid-field, Moore saw daylight and pushed the four-year-old through, who finished too strong for them in the end. He has to carry an extra 3kgs here and steps up in distance but today, has Australian rider Jamie Kah on board who give him every chance to frank that last-start win and remain unbeaten on the Sha Tin track today.
