One of the weaker Grand Circuit events that I can recall as a field of eight runners contests the 2021 Miracle Mile. Defending champion King Of Swing defeated Lochinvar Art last year and the rematch this year has unfortunately not occurred with a setback to Lochinvar Art.

For that reason, King Of Swing is a $1.50 favourite and he may just bully his way to the front which seems to be a common occurrence with the six-year-old entire since joining the McCarthy stable. He was third in the Group 1 Hunter Cup (2760m) two starts ago won by Lochinvar Art but bounced back last time out winning the Group 1 Schweppes Sprint (1609m) by 4.1m in 1:49.5.

Who will win the 2021 Miracle Mile?

The defending champion King Of Swing is the most likely winner of the race. The odds suggest that, his form suggests that and having two stablemates in the race is another benefit to him.

King Of Swing has won 32 races from 66 starts, including three of four this season. If the short-priced favourite is unable to lead, then they stand a chance of beating him; if he rolls to the lead then it should be a procession as he takes his earnings past $2 million.

The only horse that interests me against King Of Swing is one of his stablemates, four-year-old entire EXPENSIVE EGO. A winner of 12 races from just 16 starts, Expensive Ego captured the Group 1 Chariots Of Fire (1609m) in 1:48.9. He worked extremely hard in the race and thoroughly deserved the victory after working three-wide to find the death seat.

Stylish Memphis was fourth in the Chariots and she then went on to win the Group 1 Ladyship Mile (1609m) at her next start.

Expensive Ego is the unknown talent in this grade and that’s part of the reason that I like him. I am not sure whether he will have to sit parked or can obtain cover, but he should give a bold sight in the race.

Wolf Stride will be running home strongly in the race while The Black Prince shouldn’t be too far away from the inside draw.
