Field of 16 declared for Blue Diamond Stakes
The field has been finalised for the Group 1 Randwick Guineas
Group 1 winner Anamoe draws barrier 9 for the Group 1 Randwick Guineas (1600m).
A final field of 13 has been declared for Saturday’s Group 1 Randwick Guineas.
Anamoe, who won the G1 Caulfield Guineas when he last raced over the mile, has drawn barrier 9 and will be hoping to go back-to-back after his strong win in the G2 Hobartville Stakes.
Michael, Wayne and John Hawkes will be happy with Hilal who drew 4. The colt by Fastnet Rock thrived last start with William Pike in the saddle, finishing only 0.21 lengths behind Anamoe.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Converge, who finished third behind the above runners, has drawn barrier 6 with Tim Clark in the saddle.
