BEST BET 🏆
Race 1: No.2 SUPIDO BEAUTY ($2.60 with Ladbrokes)
Local galloper SUPIDO BEAUTY is second-up today and is much better placed in this company. Last start, the three-year-old filly resumed off a 17-week spell where she took on a BM70 field at Moonee Valley. That day, she found the city class gallopers a little too rich and she also had difficulty in dealing with the anti-clockwise way of going as she finished down the track in the 1000m event. She ended her prior campaign with a win, here over the same trip, in a Class 1 Hcp, putting two lengths on the 10-strong field that day. Hannah Williams has won on the filly previously and has the reins for this contest. Already a winner when second-up and a track and distance winner as well, she should prove to be more than just competitive today.
NEXT BEST 🥈
Race 7: No.8 INVERTATIONAL ($2.60 with Neds)
Canberra galloper INVERTATIONAL is third-up today and looks set for back-to-back victories. Last start, the Invader filly came off an unplaced run in city company at Rosehill when she lined-up here in a Class 2 Hcp over 1200m and was sent out the $2.15 favourite for the event. She gave her backers no cause for alarm as she put two lengths on them that day, after coming from well back early. She gets the gun-run here from gate one as Shaun Guymer climbs aboard for his first ride on the three-year-old. The step up in distance looks no trouble here and with a pull in the weights over her older opposition, she can give this a real shake today.
BEST VALUE 💰
Race 6: No.3 I AM RICHENUFF ($4.60 with Palmerbet)
The Darrell Burnett-trained I AM RICHENUFF returns to his home track today and down in grade here, looks the one to beat. Last start, the Rich Enuff gelding had another crack at city racing and again came up empty, finishing unplaced in a Class 2 Hwy Hcp over 1400m at Randwick. Just prior to that, he finished runner-up, here on the Riverside track, in a BM66 Hcp over the longer 1800m trip. He returns to the 1800m here with Danny Beasley aboard for the first time. Well drawn in gate four, this looks an easier task and we should see a different horse today.
