Race 4 No. 8 THE JESTER’S SON- ($1.75)
THE JESTER’S SON should be hard to beat in Race 4. The Team Hayes-trained galloper has had the four career starts and has placed in all of those. His most recent start came at Sandown on March 6 and he settled midfield before running on behind Biden Time. The three-year-old went 2.7 lengths faster than standard last time, which is a better figure than what any runner in this race has produced. He will take some beating.

Race 5 No.1 PORTER- ($2.30)
PORTER can just about make it back to back wins when he steps out in Race 5. The Danny O’Brien-trained galloper took out his Maiden in style at Ballarat on March 11 when stepping up to the 1400m, clearing out to a two-length win ahead of Kira. The son of So You Think settled handy before finishing strongly to go 2.4 lengths slower than standard benchmark, which is the best last start benchmark figure of any runner. He steps up to the 1530m and should be at his peak third up.
