Race 3 No. 8 ONLY LOVE- ($1.55)

This looks to be the one for the Chris Waller-trained ONLY LOVE to claim his first victory. The four-year-old has had three starts and showed improvement two starts ago when 3rd at Bendigo before lining up at Moe and producing the fastest last 200m when runner-up behind Cumbrian Queen over the 1600m. She jumps sharply in distance for this but the daughter of Savabeel gives the impression she should be suited. Blake Shinn rides.

Race 5 No 11 JUST PRESS SEND – ($2.80)

JUST PRESS SEND can open up her campaign with a win. The Anthony & Sam Freedman-trained galloper has had just the two career starts and bumped into the promising galloper, Steparty, on debut at Ballarat, producing the fastest last 200m to fill the exacta behind that horse. At her only other start she was tried at Geelong over the 1218m and settled back before being caught out wide when running on for 5th behind Blazing Harry. The daughter of Scissor Kick comes in with just under three months between runs and has tuned up with a trial. This looks a tad easier than her other runs and with any luck from the barrier she can take this out.
